Richard J. Child, President of Child Enterprises
Bachelor of Science, Construction Management, Brigham Young University 1973, U.S. Army Engineering Corp.(1966-1968). Over 50 years of experience in the masonry field. Rick takes a hands-on approach to managing his company and is involved with his field personnel and lends his experience to projects.
Michael R. Child, Project Manager
Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Utah State University 1995. Over 20 years of experience in the masonry field. Mike has been the project manager for the majority of Child Enterprises major project over the past 10 years. He has supervised and worked on a number of restoration and new projects. Mike is also trained and certified in the use of many restoration products and procedures.
Craig Child, Project Manager
Bachelor of Arts, Art History, Utah State University 1999. 15 years of experience in the masonry field and training and certification in the use of restoration products and procedures. Projects supervised by Craig Child: Bountiful 11, 45, & 55 Wards Remodel, North School Renovation, Hotel Park City, and the Braithwaite Building, SUU Campus. He was also involved with the restoration work on the Utah State Capitol, the Salt Lake City Temple, the Historic Assembly Hall, and the Provo Academy Building. Currently, Craig is assisting as a project manager for various projects including, the John Park Building at the University of Utah and the OC Tanner Flagship Renovation (Hansen Planetarium).
Chad Robertson, Superintendent
13 years of experience in the masonry field. Stone projects supervised by Chad include: Stone walls at the Olympic Ski Park, Soldier Hollow; Installation of exterior stairs at the LDS Conference Center, Salt Lake City; the Four Seasons Resort, Jackson WY; the Shooting Star Condominiums, Deer Valley; the Arrowleaf Lodge (Building A), Deer Valley, and the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Associasion Center of Excellence, Park City. Block and Brick jobs supervised by Chad include: Girl’s Town, West Jordan; the Waterford School Addition, Sandy; and the Warnock Engineering Building, U of U Campus. He also worked on the Logan Temple, Historic Assembly Hall, the Provo Academy Building, and University Wards Chapel. Chad is currently supervising a retail project in Jackson Wyoming at 172 Center Street and is also helping supervise the Flagstaff Lodge in Deer Valley.
David King, Superintendent
17 years of experience in the masonry field; Dave has worked on many projects including – the Four Seasons, Jackson, WY; the Logan Temple, the Historic Assembly Hall, the Provo Academy Building, and the University Wards Chapel, etc. He has supervised work at the Historic Tabernacle Building on Temple Square, The Zion’s Bank Tower, the Crystal Heights Church and Brighton Church renovations, the West Valley City Fleet Management Building, the CMU work at the Utah State Capitol Building, the Digital Learning Center, UVU Campus, Provo, the Riverton Hospital, and at Red Butte Gardens, Salt Lake City. Dave is currently overseeing work at the BYU Central Production Kitchen, Provo and the OC Tanner Renovation of the Historic Hansen Planetarium.
Steven Child, Foreman
Bachelor of Science, Building Construction Management, Utah Valley University. 15 years of experience in the masonry field; 5 years experience as a Foreman; 3 years experience as a project manager and estimator.
Jeff King, Foreman
13 years of experience in the masonry field; Projects supervised by Jeff King: Sandy Parks Phase 4, Clear Springs Building, Orem, Precast Bench work at Temple Square, and the granite and terra cotta restoration work at the Utah State Capitol Building. Other projects Jeff has been involved with are the Four Seasons, Jackson WY, the Braithwaite Building SUU Campus, the Logan Temple, and the Provo Academy Building. Jeff is currently supervising work at the Children’s Center, Salt Lake City and at the IHC Park City Medical Center.
